M.S. Liberal Studies

The Graduate Studies Program, in conjunction with the College of Arts & Sciences, advises students seeking a Master of Science in Liberal Studies (MSLS). The MSLS is an interdisciplinary degree created for those who are seeking generalized graduate level education with one or two concentration areas, and designed for a wide spectrum of individuals.

Required Course

L SK 500. Interdisciplinarity. 3 Semester Credit Hours.

Interdisciplinary is a course in which students research, write, and present about how paradigm shifts and paradigm development contribute to the emergence of disciplines and the creation of knowledge. Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing.

Students need to contact their advisor to help choose classes for the Emphasis.
